Incredible top notch peak Chicago-y dive bar spot that ALLOWS DOGS INSIDE!!! (See cute picture of my guy napping while we sip at the bar.) Having saw this place many times while going over the Grayland Metra station, I finally thought to come in. It's located almost literally under the tracks, and inside you can hear the trains rumble. The Booze Hound has lots to drink of course, at pretty good prices too. Also lots of cool old sports memorabilia is everywhere. Sad to see some reviews portray this hometown bar as a place of hate. I’ve been coming here for years and I have to say it’s a cheers bar. The staff is great, it’s nice to see the same faces and they always know your name. The customers are equally welcoming! Always love to visit.
