“I had an incredible dinner at Hoja Santa in Oak Park. I ordered the medium-rare NY Strip Steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The yuca fries with chimichurri were on a whole different level; truly out of this world. I paired everything with two glasses of cabernet, which made the whole meal even better. The ambiance is quiet and comfortable, making it a great spot to unwind, and the location is super convenient. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were genuinely attentive and made me feel as if I had been there many times before—like a regular. That kind of warmth is rare and really elevated the experience. Highly recommend.“

“We have been lucky to attend this hall on multiple occasions from a production company standpoint. The hall is not the best for sound reinforcement as you will need a separate rig pointed to where the main entrance is to ensure you will have even coverage for all patrons. However, it is a minor detail that with the right professional shouldn't be a problem. The catering was very good and the space looked very nice. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice event space.“

“The food is incredible. I get the dinner with one pastor taco and one chile relleno taco and they're both the best I've had in Westmont hands down. The beans are cooked perfectly and the rice is as expected, delicious.

The customer service is always very pleasant and their salsa verde AND salsa rojo are both very flavorful with solid spice.

F’bombs about politics and covering shifts made for an unpleasant atmosphere. The lack of maintaining a professional environment or even a family friendly environment was lost today. Sounds like the staff needs a manager to be present. Take your nachos to go.“

“This was our first time eating here and everything was amazing. I had a steak taco which was cooked perfectly and the meat was really tender. My wife had chilaquiles with steak and over medium eggs both cooked perfectly, she asked for the red spicy sauce that they give you for the chips and they where amazing. By way of comparison, I give the edge to Cactus Grill in Forest Park as I find their food absolutely delicious and authentic, but YES this place is really good! The Cactus Grill specialty burrito is the best I’ve ever had! It’s a mix of carne asada, Al pastor and Chorizo made to order!!!“

“My wife and I eat regularly at Estancia for dinners and lunch. IMO it is tasty with reasonable portions and good prices. Overall it is better then some of the larger Mexican restuarants in the area with a casual atmosphere and great customer service. Too many persons fall for the ambiance of a place and don't get quality or authentic Mexican food. In warm weather their small patio is very inviting with plenty fo parking nearby.“
