“Rib tips were hard, called and talked to Tiana who claimed she was the manager, had the worst attitude but she did have us bring back what we didn’t eat and they would make us fresh food. “Family friendly restaurant. I had the half chicken dressing, greens. Chicken was not hot, and it was in a warmer, greens was okay, dressing was good, and everybody knows, cranberry sauce goes with dressing, the cup, was so small (1/2 teaspoon) extra one is quarter (they don't tell you when ask for it). pet peeve with restaurants stingy with condiments, food not being hot.Try it for yourself.“

“My Mama wanted Hancock candies yams greens and cornbread . I call and spoke with a gentleman and explained my needs and with no hesitation he said I have everything but greens.but I have canbage.i drove to the restaurant fast service and he actually remembered me.i notice they ha e spe gals everyday and there prices was Great!! I took my mom her food to the Westside and she absolutely Lovex everything!!! “OMG!!! This place is the bomb, the inside of the restaurant is gorgeous, the customer service is phenomenal and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some delicious soul food. I love the dressing, baked chicken, sweet potatoes and muffins. The portions are good, I had enough left over to take some home for a late night snack. Our hostess Ms. Lyn has outstanding service she made sure that my glass was full at all times and that I had everything that I needed. Her smile can light up a room, keep doing a great job and we will see you again very soon. If you have not been here RUUUUUUN‼️“

“Now even though this place has changed from back then the heart and good food is still there. I really feel like people take the new ownership for granted. We could've had someone new and try to change the whole establishment with new food and staff. But they still tried and cater to all of us. The prices are way too cheap it's almost criminal. The food is wonderful for the amount you're paying. If people don't like change then stop coming. But appreciate for what it is and what it's tryna stay to be for what we had back then.“

“The food is delicious! They sell everything from tacos to jerk chicken to soulfood, which scared me because that’s all over the place but the food was so darn good!!! We had the jerk shrimp Alfredo which was phenomenal! And the fried pork chops with yams and Mac. That was delicious as well! I will say, the Mac can do without the melting cheese that they add, tastes like nacho cheese or melted can cheese but outside of that, still pretty tasty. I look forward to trying more.“

“I would like to rate this restaurant with 2 stars. The customer service was great. I traveled from Holland, Michigan in search of a good soul food restaurant. I won't go into detail, but I will mention some areas for improvement. The catfish was delicious. The sweet potato had a nice flavor. The Mac N Cheese was tasty. However, the potato salad could use some improvement. The greens tasted like they came from a can and had a lot of stems.“

“Omg, this food was AMAZING! I’ll admit, I was a little nervous walking in because the lobby wasn’t very appealing—but don’t let that fool you. I got the 2-meat, 2-sides dinner, and wow! The meatloaf was tender and flavorful with rich brown gravy. The chicken thigh was juicy, and the chicken gravy was perfectly seasoned.
Now, that dressing—tasted like homemade stuffing, but I like stuffing if it’s cooked right and it was cooked perfectly! The sweet potatoes had just the right amount of sweetness. Honestly, this place has quickly made it to the top of my list of favorite spots to try again .
Try them for yourself—you won’t be disappointed!“

“For what they charge for these chicken wings, it was the worst I ever had - no flavor at all. I don't appreciate it, but I don't send my food back. It was a learnable moment; I was there to see a band play on the patio. Overall the atmosphere was nice and I enjoyed the band.“
