“We came for Valentines to try the food and beer. The menu is simple and to the point. We both had smash burgers. Let me tell you, the burger was delicious. I went with the double and it was huge. I'll get the single smash burger next time. The cheese curd basket with ranch was really good. The atmosphere is chill, the food is yummy and reasonably priced. Oh and the beer on tap was nice and cold. Definitely coming again to try the pizza ? ?“
“Great local spot for wings, pizza, beers, music & vibes. Staff it great. It does get pretty busy or packed some times so having patience is key if you are going in hangry. Overall a great selection if you want the neighborhood bar outing.“

“Look the food here is great. I had the grilled chicken sandwich, the steak bites, tater tots, and my wife had the shrimp basket with the corn. Everything was delicious. The bartender was awesome. The vibe was great. PLEASE GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY!!! They have 1/2 off well drinks during happy hour and boy did I leave happy!!“
“We eat here weekly. The pizza is the best in the Southland. The bar has a "Cheers" vibe where all are welcome. Pizza is half off on Tuesday and every one in town knows that's the best dinner option! Don't take my word for it, you really must try it out!“
“Service from reservations, to dinner and service at the event was excellent. Drinks are very reasonable and surprisingly not water down as you would find that other bars. Food was good. Making reservations was a breeze. Only downside that was extremely disappointing was the band was an hour and a half late to start. Don't know what the issue was with the band but I'm not sure how that could be the venues fault. we're definitely coming back again!“
“Came in to watch a March Madness game, got seats at the bar right away. Service by Amanda was top notch-she was very attentive without being too aggressive. Food was delicious! Highly recommend the friend pickles and the gyro trash sandwich. Natural cut fries are the best!“
“I was there for Karaoke & Open Mic on Tuesday nights; the service and atmosphere were outstanding. We left a bar I would rather not name and theyservice was awful so to come in and have an exceptionally pleasant experience made it worthy of this post. It’s not nonstop karaoke, there are great songs mixed in.“

“Very welcoming to non-regulars. We're from out of state for a conference and were looking for a neighborhood bar. Perfect. Staff are quick and very friendly! They even put our MN Wild on TV for us even though 3 Chicago teams are playing tonight. If you're looking for a down home bar, this is a great place!! Didn't eat here but food looks good!“
“The only reason I’m leaving a 4 is because of the ladies restroom. Plenty of soap, no paper towel, and the air dryer was not up to par. There’s a slip and fall risk because of where the sink is in relation to where the hand dryer is. Lots of water on the floor, and the floor is slick. Otherwise, the food was great, and our server was amazing, I think her name was Tiffany. Great menu suggestions and very personable! I’ll definitely be back!“
“Greeted right away by Cindy. Super attentive and fast. A softball team came in a while later. Asked for a few buckets, specialty drinks and pizzas. She was awesome at attending to everything and I even overhead the team say she was "on fire" tonight which I feel is accurate. Over all, awesome experience and fun time! “Was doing a little bar hopping and found this hidden gem. They have pool, slots, darts and Touch Tunes for music which worked for us. Service was friendly and the prices were good too. Didn't serve any wine though so I had to swich up my drinks. All in all, a nice spot!“

They have a beautiful space in the back of the bar that is attached to the building, completely enclosed, but feels like you are outside due to all of the glass. “The food. The menu is a dinky piece of laminated paper. It just says things like “Reuben”. What it doesn’t say: rumor has it the Tavern has acquired the services of a professional chef who formerly worked in the Signature Restaurant / 95th floor Hancock building, and he’s running things here like a five star Michelin. When I got the Reuben, it didn’t just look good. It looked “plated”. Every fry perfectly fried and placed. I don’t even like Reubens that much but this one was amazing. LOOK AT IT. ITS A MASTAPIECE. savory corned beef and left the memory of perfectly buttered rye on my palate. WHAT IS THIS PLACE !?!“
“I've been here a few times over the years, my friend likes to hold fundraisers here. I don't have a lot to say beyond it is a nice bar. Cheap drinks, good selection, cash only is annoying but I won't drop a star because of that. The bathrooms are nice and the staff is friendly. Plus they have a big draw for the card raffle they do every week and I love their touch tunes.I enjoy coming here and I'd come here again!“

“I've been here with some friends a couple of times and they don't disappoint. The service is great, the bartenders are really good, the food is really good and it gets a bit crowded but you never feel closed in. The outside accommodation was comfortable even when it was cold out, and the lower level option was great since we had a few more people. I was missing an item and called to explain the situation and they fixed it right away, no hassle or complications. We will definitely be back for our monthly get togethers!!!“
