“I love this American restaurant, the food is delicious, satisfying and enjoyable. I especially love the burgers and fries, they are freshly made and very authentic. In addition, the environment here is also very comfortable and spacious, which makes people feel very relaxed and happy. “We came for Valentines to try the food and beer. The menu is simple and to the point. We both had smash burgers. Let me tell you, the burger was delicious. I went with the double and it was huge. “We heard their fries were awesome and had to give it a try. We chose to go around 4pm on a Saturday and beat the dinner crowd, sat at the bar and had speedy service all around. They also have wood bar toppers to give you for food orders at the bar since the way the bar top is originally built isn't the best for eating. There is a decent tap list and their duck fries were as good as claimed. I can't speak for their busier times but when we went it was clean, we were greeted and our food came out quick. Overall, it's worth a try to decide for yourself.“
“I would highly recommend fourteensixteen as it is by far the best restaurant in lagrange. The staff are amazing, the vibes are on point, and the location itself presents itself well. I got the pistachio covered lamb rack when I last went, and it was phenomenal. The dish held up well, the lamb was moist, and the sauces complimented the lamb perfectly. I also had the mango cheesecake, and I can still remember how perfect the cheesecake was. It was a perfect amount of cheesecake flavor to mango flavor. I would highly highly recommend this restaurant as I have yet to see a better one in the surrounding area.“

“We ate here with a large group (9 adults, 1 child). At first they told us it’d be a bit of a wait due to reservations but they sat us within five minutes. The hosts seemed kind of “in the weeds” and annoyed but it wasn’t that busy. Our server took a while to get to us but he was okay. The food portions are large. I recommend the nachos as an appetizer and the chicken wrap as an entree - it’s really big and I only finished half. My friend didn’t like the fish tacos as there was a lot of breading but burgers and hot dogs were okay. Nothing fancy.“

“We found this little tavern about half a block from our hotel room. Some of the people traveling with us had trouble with some of the other taverns and bars due to reservations. We later found out from the locals that it's best to stay away from the north side due to the service being a little different for visitors. Well, we definitely did not have any problems with service here. This local pub had a good crowd and there was only seating available at the bar. We were immediately served and made friends with a local as soon as we sat down. They definitely made us feel at home and the experience here compared to the north side was definitely different. It wasn't anything fancy, just good company and good drinks. We only stayed a while because we had to get up early in the morning but by the time we left that place was jam-packed and booming. It was maybe 10 mins by car... from the minute you walk in you feel very welcome, Carrie, our server, mentioned she has been there for 14 yrs and it showed! She knew all the patrons, treated our group like family ! She made us feel special ! She even gave my grand daughter a T shirt with "Turtles" on it so we will remember to eat there again next time we are in Chicago! The food now, well the hamburgers were awesome, I recommend them! Salads were fresh and giid! Try the pulled pork, that was really good!! Personally I can bet, anything on the menu is great what!
