Despite occasional computer issues, the atmosphere remains warm and inviting, with great music and treats like date walnut cookies, pink cookies, chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies, and magic bars. The owners are back in charge, making it a part of Carbondale history. The menu includes vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore options, along with unique coffees, sodas, juices, and even a single beer.
Customers can also buy frozen to-go items like soups and lasagna, which are reasonably priced and perfect for home or gifts. The bakery is close to the train station, next to a vinyl record shop and a bar with a patio called "the cellar."
