Fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff, great prices, good music
Legendary dive bar!!! Great live music and cheapest beer in town.
Great food. It gets loud but it is a bar, so like what do you expect?

PK's Bar is a top-rated combo in Carbondale, Illinois, offering amazing food, a fitting atmosphere for anyone, and outstanding customer service. This dive bar serves surprisingly good food, including the best burgers in town, with quirky and gourmet "burger of the week" specials. They also offer vegan options like the beyond burger and non-dairy cheeses.
With affordable drinks, nightly specials, and 16 oz cans of cold beer, PK's is a local favorite with a charming, old-school vibe. It features a dedicated stage for live music, games like pool, darts, and foosball, and a popular pool table. Though the name comes from Pizza King, they don’t serve pizza—just great smashburgers at a great price. More student-friendly now, PK's remains a beloved Carbondale dive.
