“Took our family and friends to this buffet. It was a party of 9 called 3 hours before and the owner lady was amazingly exceptant of the large group. Even let us bring a cake because we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. The service was amazing. The staff even sang with us for the happy birthday song. “I'm probably one of the last few of the original Taylors still alive. My Dad told me that there were two brothers who owned the business and, somehow, one brother took over and then sold the business. Nevertheless, I love all chili. My Dad used to order a case every now and then and my family always enjoyed it. Years ago, my Dad and I went to the parlor in Carlinville. We saw a guy behind the counter who looked just like us. I wanted to say hi but my Dad wanted to remain anonymous. I'll probably order some Taylor's Mexican chili, partly because its good and partly to remember my Carlinville heritage.”
