The place is great ! I couldn't find another place in Carlinville like it... the atmosphere makes you want to stay longer..the food was exactly what I was looking for...good portions... friendly service... the price seem low for the quality of food!

Stopped here on a day trip over from St. Louis. A great place, with absolutely delicious food. Our server was very sweet, which is always a plus. My husband had the Rueben sandwich, which he said was great. I had the chef salad and it was excellent. Lovely building, with an interesting history. We will definitely be back again!
