“The staff always makes this a fun stop. The drinks are inventive and there’s so many flavors to choose from. Tim and the gang there make you want to stay. Don’t expect “normal” brewery beers though. There’s lots of flavors and flavor combinations possible. Talk to the really friendly and fun staff there and try some new stuff!“

“i recently had a disappointing experience at a restaurant that I felt compelled to share. I went there for dinner with my fiancée, mother, and our two young kids, ages 3 and 1. Initially, the dinner was fantastic; we were enjoying our time together and the food was great. However, after about an hour and 20 minutes, we were abruptly told we had to leave because of other reservations. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since I still had my drink left, and we had just paid our tab As we were leaving, we encountered a manager and inquired about the situation. To our shock, she responded by asking if we knew how to read English, which felt incredibly rude and unprofessional. I pulled up my reservation online and nowhere does it say there was a time limit. To make matters worse, as we walked through the bar to exit, she followed my mother and physically shoved her three times. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in any establishment, and it left a sour taste in what could have been a lovely evening. We called the cops to make a report as the manager "lucy" (she told me this was her name) should never be able to touch a customer. Especially since we were not refusing to leave AND my kids were there to witness it all. In the car my son kept asking why the lady pushed my mom . This shouldn't be something I need to answer as it never should have happened. She tried telling the cops she did not have the "intent" to hurt but to get us out . Yet we were not even refusing to leave...only letting her know it was rude as we still had stuff that was unfinished that we paid for. I understand that restaurants have to manage reservations, but there are respectful ways to handle these situations. Additionally, she left it up to the waiter to tell us we had to leave . I won't be returning, and I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision. And please , if you were in the bar / restaurant when this all happened , speak up on how wrong it was of her to push someone like that.“

“Here I am again... first, it was cold in here. I sat with my coat on the entire time! Now, let's talk about food! This was our 1st time here..I ordered an Italian beef with fries..hubby ordered the combo..Beef and sausage with fried mushrooms. I would have given 5 starts if the food had been hot. The taste was very good.. but it was not hot..just warm. We received our food right away! So it should have been HOT.. service was good..they were friendly and again the food came out right away. We will come back again. Since we enjoyed the flavor of the food.. hoping the next time the food is hot. Considering the service and fast delivery of the food.. the presentation of it was good.. flavor was there too.. On a side note.. the hard rock music was definitely a turn off for me.. it wasn't a constant hard rock..“

“The food was all tasty and the service very friendly. Everyone in my family liked the burger (we all shared) and the smoked chicken. Sides Mac n cheese, green beans, Cole slaw, were all good too. I’ll be back. This place is tucked away, you would never know it’s there.“

“On a very hot and busy evening, we took the only seats available, outside- the outdoor seating happens to be a beautiful sun room with a nice view. We came in mid dinner rush on a Friday evening and this place was PACKED, so naturally it was a little busy, and the kitchen had a nightmare on their hands to work through. That being said, the food came out a little slow, and without any sort of prompting, or anything, one of the owners (a VERY nice lady) came out and apologized for the wait, then comped our appetizer for coming out after the entrees, and to top it off she threw in a free dessert for the "trouble" which as far as we were concerned wasn't any trouble at all. The product itself was well worth the wait. I personally NEVER finish my entrees at restaurants, and I absolutely destroyed the Caribbean Burger I ordered. SO worth the wait. Portions are great, food quality was awesome, the entire staff was friendly, despite it being so busy and so hot, the whole experience was awesome from walking in, to closing out. 20/10, would absolutely come here again and would recommend this place to anyone who loves a good Midwestern meal with a great atmosphere.“

Do not listen to old Reddit or Yelp comments about their spirits, everything we sampled was amazing. I walked out with a bottle of their single barrel bourbon. The bartender/distiller was amazing, when she told me I was drinking a two year, I couldn't believe it. I guessed it was aged at least ten years by the wonderful notes and smoothness. “I have come to this candy shop for the last 10 years. That should speak for itself. If it doesn't, I'll say more:I absolutely love chocolate malts. Any place I go that has them, I always order one. SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever had anywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the malts are the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10."However, if you aren't into malts, there are many other things to love. They have the widest variety of candies I have ever seen at one shop, plus some types of candy that I haven't seen anywhere else in 15 years, not to mention soda in actual glass bottles! Good luck finding those in your local grocery store! It seems impossible to find a real *candy* store anymore, as opposed to a store with a candy section.If you're in the area, SweetSpot is a must-visit. “We have been going there for the last five years bragging about the hamburgers. Went there today order the hamburger it came out. Almost fully well done very poor quality. One asked If I could have gotten it rare was told menu says medium well. Meat was of a quality as if it was cooked earlier this week. Definitely will not be going back for hamburgers. Was told by the waitress No one will ask you how you want it done it says on the menu. We used to consider it best burger in town.“

Christian, our server answered our many questions about the food and emboldened us to try selections we’d never had before! Unfortunately this time around the hot dog was not all that great, very bland and actual weiner didn’t have much flavor and the sweet potatoes were a bit burnt, but i think this is a minor mistake than can easily be fixed in the future! Can’t wait to be back!“
