“Fabulous place across from the train station in downtown Crystal Lake.Fabulous high ceilings funnel away the noise of surrounding conversations.I hardly noticed anyone else was there.Minimalist decor with comfy chairs and inviting wooden tables.We ordered protein bite cookies with chai teas. I was delighted to be given real plates and cups. Real silverware is available, too.I admit I don't actively look for coffee houses and I'm normally a dark roast double expresso shot with milk from Starbucks person when I do get coffee from a store. But I am eagerly planning my next visit here.Aroma has such an inviting atmosphere. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Our time there was truly a treat for me, an escape from the outside world to catch up with a friend. I wouldn't change a thing! ❤️“

“From the lounge to the store above it, it was amazing! The owner and his staff are super friendly, and knowledgeable about their products and are there to please. I visited there store to pick up a very hard to find bourbon and they had it, as well as a great selection of other rare spirits. During my visit, the owner's son showed me the lounge below the store and it was so unique and high end! I couldn't wait to come back with my boyfriend as I knew he'd love it. We went last night for a Bourbon tasting event and we couldn't have been more impressed! The staff was fabulous, the event was perfect and the charcuterie boards provided were delicious! I recommend anyone to attend an event or just stop to find a rare spirit and call ahead to spend time in the lounge, you won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be back. 5 stars isn't enough.“

I can’t dine in as my friend is bedridden and this is the only place we can find said soda which we really like. “LOVE LOVE LOVE coming to grandmas! My significant other and I used to live 5 mins away and would come specifically on Thursday nights for AMAZING food and an even better time playing free bar bingo! We moved up to Richmond(20-25 mins) away and we still choose to make the drive to grandmas as it's just the best! Served on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. My wife had the Italian sausage-stuffed pork chops, and my friend had the walleye. The wine list is broad and the server & owner take time to help each diner select the perfect one. I went the microbrew route and really enjoyed my lager. The best part of the meal, though, was the service. Mary fussed over us, made us laugh repeatedly, and suggested a handful of items we really enjoyed and wouldn't have otherwise tried. “I regularly visit Ruth’s because of the friendly atmosphere and excellent food. They have a great Happy Hour Menu with one of the best burgers in town. The lamb chops and ribeye on the main menu are superb. Most of all, the bartenders are the reason that myself and many of the regulars keep returning. Tiffany and Mark have long been the faces of the bar. Their service is exemplary. They are always on point with their food and drink recommendations and are very attentive. They cultivate great relationships with the patrons, and are invaluable to the restaurant.Jim, the general manager, always comes around and greets patrons with a smile and handshake. Victor, a food runner, is so sweet and makes sure that you have everything that you need. Great food, atmosphere, and an incredible team!“
