“Love this bar, small/limited seating inside but a nice patio area in the back and a rooftop area. Music inside isn't too loud, so you can still have a conversation. “Fun place and pleasant staff. Burgers were kinda dry but they were nicely dressed. Some of the sweet potato fries were room temperature. That being said everyone seemed to enjoy our food. The blue cheese dressing was phenomenal. I would definitely come back if I get to the area.Kid-friendliness: 8 year old granddaughter loved the strawberry salad.”
“Stopped in with my boyfriend who is an alum and hasn't been to visit campus in about 10 years. He has fond college memories at the Illini Inn so we stopped in to check it out. Looks like a completely new building from the time he was there, but he still enjoyed being there to re-live a little. It's a good stop for a quick beer with the typical college student nonsense going on all around you, even in November when it's freezing cold outside!”
“Coffee shop by day, restaurant/bar by night. Gotta come check this place out, especially on Taco Tuesday (1/2 price). The steak tacos were juicy and the pork tacos had a nice heat to it. The jalapeño queso is a comforting appetizer too. Bathrooms are clean and you can park at the bank nearby or on the street in the evenings. Overall, if you need food downtown, come check it out!”
“First time here on our visit to the University of Illinois. Located right off the Quad on Green street. Nice bar inside with excellent food. Their Reuben sandwich was excellent along with great onion rings. Waffle fries were excellent, as well. They also have pool tables downstairs. Very enjoyable experience. Enjoy!”
“We went after an Illinois football game. The place was packed, but our server was still very attentive and I had the best southwest salad ever. The chicken was freshly grilled and the dressing delicious. We all loved the atmosphere, great place to eat.”

“Smith Burger definitely has the best burgers in town, don't downplay the hot dogs though either. The chili cheese ripper is super good. Then by adding the beer selection of collective pour to this place it is hard to beat. Because it is on the edge of downtown one might say that the location is limiting, but because of the parking right outside it's a pretty great location too.”
