“Simply put, The Terminal is an asset for Terre Haute. It was very busy at about 9pm on a Saturday. However, noise level was not overbearing. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. Bartenders were quick with refills and made sure the experience was great.Food prices have clearly not changed in some time and we're great value. Quality of food was extremely high.I ordered a Bavarian pretzel, French onion soup, and macaroni and cheese. The pretzel was huge and came with a generous portion of Bier cheese. It was fresh and fluffy, and full of flavor with compliments to the cheese. The French onion soup was a hearty portion and exactly the amount of flavor you're hoping for with an appropriate mix of ingredients. The macaroni and cheese is extremely cheesy, so be aware of that if you are not into that. I happily downed every bite! I'd be happy to return!“
“This is our favorite place to go for fun. My husband and I drive over an hour to get there. The entertainment is amazing. The bartender, Teri, has our drinks ready by the time we’re done talking to the doorman, Jon. The owner, Bill, always takes the time to come talk to us. There are so many talented performers that come through there. But, we go see the resident performers Alora La Bella and Cheryle Teaseman. The drinks are very reasonably priced and the food is delicious. Whether your LGBQT, straight or don’t believe in labels, you’re missing out if you don’t give Zimmarss a shot.“
“Steak, taters, and slaw, oh my! Friendly folks and fantastic food. Easy environment to be in for a while just funning it up with family. The menu is diverse with something for all. We especially liked the ruffle-cut "fries." They are really fried potato slices that are so good. Enjoy!“
“The Poplar Pub in Terre Haute Indiana has a fun atmosphere and is a great spot to hang out with friends or watch sports games! The food menu ranges from appetizers to salads to sandwiches to burgers and more. Monday night offers a 10 inch pizza special and it appears that there is sometimes live music and karaoke nights. Don't be deceived because this spot is located in a shopping strip, the food is spectacular, and the drinks are served quickly. If you are looking for a different spot to check out, hang out or eat at in Terre Haute, Indiana, go visit Poplar Pub.“
“My Sister and I loved the place and the food was great. The only thing not good was, my sister has a wheelchair and it was not handicap excessable she could not have gotten in by herself. The bathrooms were nasty.! Looked like nobody had cleaned in months. Very gross.“
“Great place for small family gatherings. The pool table is awesome. I commented on the felt to the owner and he told me that he is getting ready to have it changed. Amazing! Wish all tables in town were that nice. Lighting is great too. My brothers, sister and I enjoyed the ? and music too. Atmosphere is cozy and there's plenty of parking available.“
“Excellent restaurant in downtown Terre Haute! The food here was absolutely fantastic. I got a burger that came with bacon, cheese, and spicy cheese curds on it. It was great! And they’re fries were some of the best I’ve had. The atmosphere is very chill and pleasant, and our waitress was very nice and kind. Definitely recommend this place!“
“Absolutely love the Bally! Sometimes I go just to get a pizza and play some pool, and other times I go for drinks and karaoke. Always have great staff and are consistent with their mix drinks and food. I recommend this bar to all my college friends, and even my family when we travel to Terre Haute.“
“We get Twiggy's/Sweet Lou's every time we are in town for the Special Olympics. It's become a tradition! We like the froggy poppers. Woohoo! Spicy, but good! The pizza is always fresh and tasty. We have done both dine in and carry out and have enjoyed ourselves both ways. We look forward to continuing the tradition!“
“My wife and I ended up going for singo, we enjoyed the open areas, the general happiness of the patrons, and the general cleanliness of this establishment. Food truck was in the lot, with easy access to the building, it happened to start storming halfway through the event I didn't mind the 5 foot walk to the food truck. The drinks are great, they had a range of beers for every taste and even some fruit wines for you sweet drinkers out there. Overall I would recommend anyone to go there, especially any members of a service branch. I'm sure there is plenty more character to explore. I will be back.“
