“My 3 year old wanted sprinkles on her pancakes. We asked the waitress and she said she didn’t think they had any but they’d check. Then she came back and said someone what running to the store to get sprinkles. I thought I misheard her, but when my daughter’s pancakes come out, they had sprinkles! She was so excited and I will be a life long patron. They went above and beyond to make our breakfast enjoyable!“

“Some of the best bar food I ever had! I'm normally not a fan of American food in general, but this place is honestly amazing and fell into the exception. I have been going to this place regularly for the past 2 years, and the sliders are my go. I love the salads and drinks too! Definitely some of the best food in Champaign imo, and for the price you cannot beat the quality. Highly recommended!“

“My boyfriend and I love trying new places and this was our choice last night. It was very good! I had the fried catfish, collard greens and french fries, he had the creole fettuccine pasta and we shared the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls as an appetizer. The egg rolls were so good, they came with a sweet n sour sauce you wouldn’t think would go together, but wow, it was a great mix. His pasta was cooked perfectly and with so many good flavors in the sauce and in the shrimp, I tried a bite and my tastebuds were dancing. The catfish was fried to perfection with a delicious light and crunchy breading which paired great with the collard greens. Not everyone had the talent to make good greens and well they do! We didn’t try the dessert because we were full from the generous portions served for dinner but it all sounded good. The staff was extremely friendly and our waitress was great too. We will be going back they had so much too choose from that sounded so delicious.“

“If you like chicken you have to try this place. Great friendly service and dishes that are generous and sooo delicious. Presentation gastro pub like. Definitely will be back when in Champaign! If you can’t do fried you can substitute same dish with healthier spit roasted chicken.“

“Stango Cuisine is (supposedly) the only Zambian restaurant in the country. The spot is somewhat difficult to find, but the vibe inside is elegant and comforting. I ordered Emma's platter (a sampler of their most popular entrees, which includes chicken curry, beef stew, and more) and the beignets. This ended up being around 40 bucks, which is quite expensive. Furthermore, it took around 30 minutes for the food to arrive on a not-so-busy Wednesday evening. However, I was absolutely blown away by the food. The rice and beans were unlike any that I've tasted-the rice had a beautiful fluffy texture and the beans were decadent. The greens were also delicious, as was the beef stew. I personally didn't love the chicken curry or the stewed potatoes, but everything else was delicious. The beignets were decent, but nothing to write home about. When I come back, I'll probably get the beef stew, though I'm excited to try the oxtail as well. Overall, this is easily one of the best restaurants in the Champaign area.“

“This is a college town upper scale downtown Bar and grill. Very nice food options good beer selection good wine selection. Not too noisy. Consistently good.Parking: There's a general Downtown parking ramp a block or two away which is a good choice. There's often street parking at meters. You probably won't have to walk more than a block or two.“

“Lao Sze offers authentic Sczechuan dishes with absolutely awesome flavors and a wide array of menu choices. I had the shrimp with garlic sauce, which I would highly recommend. Can't wait to return to try other delicious selections from the menu which offers a variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The excellent food, along with a friendly welcome by the charming owner, makes Lao Sze a dining "must" in Champaign-Urbana.“

“We dined late on a Sunday night at the end of a very busy weekend for the staff-both Mother's Day and graduation weekend for UIUC. Service was attentive but food was slow coming out, but that was understandable due to the crowd they accommodated all weekend. All wait staff we encountered were professional and still smiling at the end of what was a very busy day for them. It was our first time dining here and we would definitely return.“
