“This restaurant was great. I stopped in on a rainy day and was pleasantly surprised by everything! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious! I would recommend to anyone who wants to try something new or anyone who loves middle eastern food.“

“Comfort food on a cold snowy day! Small restaurant making it a nice cozy spot for two but can still accommodate groups of 6! Servers were kind and hardworking! Food came out fast! I don't usually get appetizers, but we got the "Nataing Appetizer" which is ground pork with shrimp and bread chips. The pork went better with the shrimp chips, so fun to hear the crackling of the chip! I got the Pho Tai Chin -- I think in the CU area, Xinh Xinh cafe has the best noodles quality! They are my second favorite place for broth and meat. We also got the Bun Chicken Curry which is a cold vermicelli noodles bowl. I liked the flavors but I just personally think they do Pho better and would prefer the soups noodles! Overall, would love to come back for a nice bowl of pho. I probably wouldn't get the appetizer again, but the entrees were good portions for the price.“

“We got a family pack for delivery last week and it was fantastic! We got the smaller ($140) option and got at least 24 meals out of it. It was both tasty and healthy, much more of a home-cooked feel than a lot of restaurant options. We will be getting again!“

“El helado hambre was Muy simpatico. He was very talkative and friendly and served good ice cream. He gave my sister an extra scoop. The water ice cream was very very good. I would highly recommend el gansito Muy bien. Very family friendly restaurant and plenty of options for the fam.“

“The bread comany carries well its name, the bread there is fantastic.It has a European inspired menu, with the popular swiss fondue that I highly recommend! There lunch combos with salad/soup and half sandwich are reasonably priced and tasty. It is a great experience in a quaint and comfortable ambiance.“

“My friend got me this Tres Leches cake from Rick's Bakery and I loved it! Decent size but was able to hold it up one hand (as seen in photo)! The flavor was amazing and the cake was spongy/soft! I would definitely return to buy this cake for the next birthday party!“

“Cozy, quiet at most times when I'm in. Siam Terrace is VERY accommodating for the vegan community, even outside the current month (April is CU's vegan challenge, for those coming from out of town). “This is a hidden gem for authentic Mexican food. Not a lot of seating, but great food and service. My wife and I stopped on a Sunday night and got a table right away. House made chips and flavorful red salsa were brought to the table. They had many margaritas and beers, as well as horchata. My wife ordered a fish taco plate that came with rice and beans. She asked for black beans, it was all amazing and fresh. She really liked the creamy chipotle sauce on top. We ordered spicy guacamole for the table and asked for some verde salsa. Both were awesome. I ordered three enchiladas, one red, one green, and one cheese with pastor, chorizo, and barbacoa. I wanted to try a variety, and they were all awesome, barbacoa was my favorite. This plate also came with rice and beans. Our server was very nice and helpful! We will be back.“

“We love this half-market and half-cafe! I always stop in when I'm in town to check out their new vegan selections and various global foods, and then pop into the cafe for lunch. They have a bunch of things in the deli that are vegan - baba ganouj, hummus, bbq tofu, dolmeh, falafel, tabouli, and more - and have milk alternatives for their drinks. They have a great selection of bottled drinks as well.“

Graduating from U of I has been disheartening as that means I am further away from this place. They're always so nice and quick to service. It wasn't busy or crowded at all. “Great place to get a Café Latte. I stopped it on a Saturday morning, and the place was really busy, but the service was pretty quick. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, and there were a lot of people enjoying coffee and breakfast.“

“I have family out this way and during our last visit, we came here for breakfast. We were seated quickly and our server was on top of things. I loved the buffalo chicken wrap, and everyone else was happy with their meal too. I really enjoyed looking at the decor, especially the antique cash register up front. It's quite a piece.“
