I had high hopes for this place after looking at the menu online. They were quickly replaced with annoyance and disappointment. The waitress was terrible. She spent a majority of her time talking to her family then when we asked for refills or a spoon she acted like we were annoying her and actually told us when she had time she would get it. The location is awesome. The day I stopped in, the section that I sat in was very drafty and cold. The food was good. There are a lot of choices on the menu. The server was very fast. I will visit again the next time I am in the area.
Saw this driving but so stopped for a bite on the way home. Love it! Super yummy oven baked pizza. Tasted like 'more' lol lol Also have merchandise, looked tempting, got 2 small pkgs of gluten free pasta to try. Excited to try it. Definitely recommend it. Loved it, going back, asap

The Salty Dawg Bar is a super cute, very casual local spot in Waldport with a must go to, local waterhole vibe. It sits right on the bay, offering a nice big window view and plenty of free parking with both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambiance is fun and real, giving a welcoming "Cheers"-like feeling where the locals are super friendly.
Service is consistently kind, friendly, and excellent, with staff providing genuine hospitality. The restaurant is a full bar, serving hand made cocktails like the frozen mangoneada and frozen watermelon margarita, as well as big drinks and lottery.
The menu features well-priced, hot food made to order with no short cuts. Popular items include the peel and eat shrimp, fried shrimp, clam strips, and clam chowder, all cooked to perfection. The patty melt, double cheese bacon burger, cheeseburger, Broasted chicken dinner, cod sandwich, BLT salad, crispy hot fries, and onion rings are all noted as top notch. The establishment is also dog-friendly, offering amazing treatment for pets. It is considered a gem where everything is good and life is good.
