“Stopped in here on our first night and had an early dinner, our boys had the kids burger and fries, lots of different kid menu options, my wife had fish and chips and I had the Pirates plate which had clams, calamari, deep fried cod, breaded shrimp, onion rings and Cole slaw. The service was great I had a local IPA my wife had a margarita and she did notice that it seemed to lack alcohol, good place for quick bite, nice view of the lack and overall good service and food, we got lava cake and was supposed to be strawberry cheesecake but when we got back to our motel we noticed we got carrot cake which was fine because it ended up being delicious, would come here again for sure.“
“We came in about 30 minutes before closing time, which is usually risky for a buffet setting - but not here! The food that should have been hot was hot, but not dried out. The cold foods were nice and cool, like they came straight out of the fridge. Everything was great, but the fried mushrooms and fried chicken were AMAZING.“
“This is a quintessential part of Midwest Americana. Super relaxed atmosphere. You might even still catch The Walton's or M*A*S*H on the TV set, while waiting for your meal. Service is always friendly! Food is cooked in a good ole fashioned "down home" style. AND...don't forget desert!! BTW....it's ALL good!“
“I love eating at Barb’s Bounty . Home cooking ! Barb takes pride in what ever she makes . My two favorite dinners are Italian beef , and every Friday she serves white fish and my opinion the best batter in town . She told me that it’s her father recipe without a couple of items !!
