“What a fantastic venue! We traveled from St Louis over to Waterloo after seeing this recommended numerous times. Location is adorable- the downtown area of Waterloo is super cute with lots of surrounding things. Lights string the roads at night and make for well lit, welcome vibe to walk from place to place. This building is beautiful; floors and walls are beautifully decorated, service and hospitality were also top notch. Food was exceptional and drinks were well served! Our server was SO great!“
“We haven't been to an Applebee's in years and decided to visit the one in Waterloo. We were promptly greeted and taken to our table. It was a busy Saturday night and the staff were smiling as they moved about the restaurant. We selected the 2 for $25 special and were very happy with our choices. The "side" salads were full sized dinner salads, and our meals arrived sizzling on platters with cast iron skillets. Our waitress was checking on us frequently and we had a great date night. “After driving by this place for 20+ years finally we went to a birthday party for our son. Kinda what I expected of a sports bar. Large place with something for everyone.From what I could see they're heavy on darts and indoor golf. TV monitors everywhere and of course betting with slots.Only drawback was the smell in the men's bathroom NASTY BAD.It could have been a dried out floor drains but it was bad the entire night. We got there right around noon (which was great because after we were sat the customers steadily kept coming in)The fried chicken was delicious! We had the potato skins and they were freshly made!!
