Haven’t been in years, but glad to see The Abbey is back! It was always one of my favorite venues back in the day. So much nostalgia for this place. Saw lots of great local bands in both the live room and the pub. There is a good-sized stage in the live room with standing room on the floor and a balcony with seating, plus a bar at the back of the room. So many cherished memories from the early Abbey days. The most important Breege was when you introduced me to Margaret Boyd. You said if she Nannies for you you’ll never look back. And so the friendship grew from strength to strength. I could write a book but so many great friendships began and blossomed under your roof.
