Well, we just loved it! We expected a slightly more bustling urban Italian experience, but being a bistro, we got a more home kitchen feel. The prices were a little lower than expected, but typical with a dine-in Italian experience.

But the food! We have tried lots of Italian restaurants in Chicago recently. This was a standout. They offer a delicious homemade cornbread and feta spread upon arrival. We ordered the Gorgonzola fettuccine and the linguine putaneska...
Great addition to the neighborhood. Genuinely awesome food (we had the lobster ravioli and the branzino, both excellent), and huge portions. Extremely friendly host and waitress. We will definitely be coming back.
Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Amano after it was raved about by friends who celebrated a birthday here last week. Service was extremely attentive. We ordered my toddler’s butter & parm noodles with our drinks to avoid a hangry melt down; it arrived quickly and was immediately devoured.
Lobster ravioli, short rib pappardelle, and linguine all yummy. Note the “fingerling potatoes” are more like homemade potato chips.
We found the small space and design...
