If you love hazy ipa's this place is a must. I've been drinking their beers for a handful of years and I couldn't wait for them to open a taproom. If you know anything about Hop Butcher, you know they're constantly making new beers. It's nicely designed, prices are reasonable and they have a store to purchase their beers on the other side. Definitely worth a visit. Great service with a pretty laidback vibe.
Traveling from Peosta IA to DC we had a layover in Chicago for a couple hours and decided to grab an Uber to Hop Butcher. Amazing. The beers were familiar as we used to get them at Darkbird Taphouse in Peosta but distributors quit bringing to IA. Our loss. The place is fun, the staff is wonderful, and the beer is off the hook good. The taphouse manager made us feel so welcome and is a lot of fun.
