Delicious banh mi and great service.
Really like the cold cut #1 banh mi here! I'm an avid banh mi fan in Vietnam so I have been in search of a good banh mi in Chicago. I have heard that the banh mi is made in house so the crust is flaky and is the exact replicate of the banh mi I had in Vietnam. My only suggestion that maybe the pate can be a little bit more savory and that would be perfect ☺️
This place has some of the most aurhenric Vietnamese food in Chicago! Amazing banh mi and spring rolls. Cha gio is so good. They open early and close at 5 and when they run out they run out! Make sure to come early!

Bánh Mì Ông Mười is a restaurant serving some of the most authentic Vietnamese food in Chicago. The banh mi is made in house, and the bread is flaky, crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. The cold cut #1 banh mi, the classic combo, and the grilled pork are flavorful, with fresh meat and veggies and lots of fillings. The spring rolls, cha gio, sesame balls, and fried bananas are also great. Some suggest the pate could be a little bit more savory. The food comes out super fast and is tasty. The place opens early and closes at 5, and when they run out they run out, so it is best to come early. The owner and the girls taking orders are nice, professional, and like angels. One owner even gave a partner on crutches a little stool to prop their feet on. It is a place close to home for delicious Vietnamese treats, and the fireplace and tastes are fire.
