I wish Bao Bae bakery was located in Gurnee because I am drooling!!! Salivating for how much I want a snow mountain bun. I cry and mourn for the loss of not having a snow mountain bun everyday. I believe the snow mountain bun is the pinnacle of all food. In fact, I only visit Chicago to get them. The 1.5 hour drive is worth every bite. Our go-to for pork sung/pork floss buns ? and I am not a bread person, but ALL their bread is super moist and yummy!! Oh, and I learned when we got there later (close to closing time) that they do a $1 for the remaining bread for the day, so you can be sure that everything they serve is freshly baked for the day! We go there now whenever we drive to Chicago. ?

They got a lock on milk bread, and mango 杨枝甘露，Ube mochi cake, that cake they do… woah桃胶? peach jelly is a tad sweet but yum.I am not a ube girl but had to try their creation. Absolutely gorgeous and delish!♥️ ??The osmanthus jelly pudding and the coconut pudding were well packed and delicious!
