The food is just okay in comparison to most Chicago high quality restaurants. The atmosphere is cute.
Took some out of town people here since it's one of my favorite spots and they absolutely loved it!
Came here for my birthday dinner. Definitely a hidden gem in Chicago! Loved the views, service, drinks, and food!
The kitchen unfortunately messed up our skillet order two times and the French toast was really overdone and difficult to cut and eat. This is my first time having an issue with the food here, it's normally excellent.

Always great at Bernie's! Great food, environment, service, and drinks. Best kept secret in River North so keep it to yourself! :)
Been to this restaurant many times and have always had a great experience but this time my party sat for 30 min before anyone came to talk to us
Cute spot! Loved the decor/vibe inside and our server was awesome. One of the standout dishes was the burrata (pic) - so so good. The hummus was also worthy of a mention. 4 stars because my friends steak wasn't super awesome (over done). But I would definitely go back!
Good atmosphere for a party, not a great spot for a quick meal. Waiting 40 minutes for 2 appetizers and a small salad on a Tuesday evening is pretty abhorrent.Second floor bathroom was completely trashed. Not great but not bad. Service was mediocre at best.
Absolutely awful - wouldn't suggest to my worst enemy. The manager was incredibly rude to my friend on his birthday and sat us over an hour late. He refused to accept any wrong doing and threatened to kick us out when we expressed any frustration for being seated over an hour late past our reservation time. On top of this the service was god awful and food was below mediocre. Even if the food was good, I wouldn't ever go back because of how rude, degrading, and disrespectful the management staff was. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS

It was a fun brunch with my friend, however, the only thing I was not satisfied was that it took our server a while to bring water at the beginning of service. Place looked under staffed but I think the place could be watchful and ask servers to check in with guests shortly after seated. Food was great, drinks were awesome !
The food was really good, however, it took an absurd amount of time to get our second round of drinks and over an hour for our food to come. We were told the number of modifications to our food it why it was taking so long, modifications being no bacon on a sandwich. Our food came and one person in our group did not get theirs and came out roughly 20 minutes later and by that point, we were all done with our food since we waited so long for ours to begin with. The food was great and the restaurant was super cute but the service truly took away from the whole experience.
Great place for a casual date night, great and varied menu options. The cocktail options are great and the staff is very friendly.
Very enjoyable! Had lunch on rooftop. Waiter brought out a carafe of ice water immediately which was appreciated on this scorching day. He recommended their famous hummus - with lamb. It was served with pita and crudités. Delicious! I had their burger; husband ordered falafel sandwich. He mentioned the sweet potato falafels were dense, and was hoping they’d be lighter. However, we were both blown away by the burger. GET THE HUMMUS & BURGER, FOLKS! Our waiter was great, the atmosphere was lovely!
