I recently checked out this relatively new River North restaurant. It’s located in the old Bernie’s Lunch and Supper location. Bernie’s was one of favorite spots to grab an elevated burger and fries so this place has some big shoes to fill (I lived around the corner for many years). Thankfully Sifr has done a good job at just that. Beautiful space, stopped by for a drink at the bar for mini martini week! Lots of great cocktails and menu items
The food was excellent! We had eggplant, saffron rice, beef and lamb kebabs, halloumi, muhamarra, chili are date cake and the strawberry; portions are small but good for sharing ss everyone can try more things.
