Went for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint! We loved the beignets (so good and hard to find done well in Chicago), CYOPO cooked to perfection & the corn griddle cakes which were interesting and flavorful.
This restaurant does not really well represent the wonderful foods of New Orleans and Louisiana that I've eaten from living near that area for over 30 years.
Beignets were terrible. They were heavy and dense and really just pieces of bread. We couldn't tell if they were fried or baked.. but the outside was hard.
Also, dumping an unnecessarily huge amount of powdered sugar on them did not make them better, but it was annoying to try to eat.. A proper...

Southern cooking at it's finest ... This place really surprised me as I didn't expect it to be as delicious as it was.
Although you'll get the classic Southern dishes it's prepared and delivered in a classy detail setting. This isn't like your mom's Southern cooking this literally is a fancy preparation and style.
