I love blaze but please go over proper sanitation with all employees! Older gentleman with silver hair was coughing & wiping his nose with his arm. Didn't wear a mask did he cough in his sleeve.

Order at counter, fast service for wood fire pizza. Nice size and price especially in the city. Love the choice of free post baking toppings eg pesto, arugula. Grapefruit lemonade is a winner too.Kid-friendliness: Build your own and speedy service are ideal for younger kids.

Honestly, this place is our staple for pizza night. We like to dip our pizza in ranch, and Blaze's ranch is phenomenal. We like getting the white pizza with arugula & the meat lovers pizza. You don't really need any extra sides with the pizza despite the size being a little smaller than your typical chain or restaurant sized pizza. The workers here are pretty nice here and even manage to make conversation when it's busy on a Friday night. It takes roughly about 20-30 minutes to get your pizzas even if they're super busy, which is nice. Overall a good place to eat and a staple if you're looking to try a new pizza place.

This experience was painful. Took forever to get our pizzas assembled since there was only one person loading the ingredients. We finally get to the register to pay and the guy (receipt says Tristan S.) tells me I have to order 2 drinks in order for this coupon to work. It clearly states a free pizza with the order of a pizza and a drink, not 2 drinkS. He says it won't work otherwise. I ask to speak to the manager and he says he IS the manager. False advertisement and made no effort to honor what the promotion states. Also, our change called for some dollars & 24 cents, this dude gives us 20 pennies! I ask him if he had any coins other than just pennies, he says no. They're LITERALLY next door to a bank! Are you serious? If he is, in fact the manager, he's doing a horrible job of it. This encounter left a bad taste in my mouth, even before trying the food. Will never patronize this place again.

Blaze employees are very friendly and love to accommodate special requests for an order customization of for dietary restrictions. I love making a flatbread, essentially, by ordering a cauliflower crust and adding all the toppings I like, no sauce or cheese. No matter how unique the order, they are happy to make it!

For those who relish Blaze Pizza, this specific branch stands out as the finest I've encountered. The abundance of toppings sets it apart, especially when contrasted with other outlets – the disparity is particularly pronounced in comparison to the Evanston location, where a solitary mushroom piece scarcely graces a slice.

Tried Blaze Pizza for the first time. Location is close to Loyola and train station. Not happy with just waiting 10 minutes to take order. They seemed to prefer online orders. I had the meatloaf pizza, it was good.

I wish I had gone here sooner. The dough was tasty and crunchy. The pizza oven gives the crust just the right amount of stiffness and char on the underside That char is flavor! The toppings options were plentiful and all were very tasty.Virtually any combination of toppings will lead to a mouth-watering pizza pie.Warning: the spicy pizza sauce 'green paper' hot, not 'red pepper flakes' hot. The sausage is a bit spicy. The roasted garlic really adds another level of flavor to the pie. I also liked the sauces drizzled on the pizzas once taken out of the oven. My favorite was the balsamic vinaigrette. Can't wait to go back.

For Christ's sake, they NEED to find some way to better manage, organize and distribute their online orders and pickups. I placed my (pre-paid) online order at 8:45, and I got to the store at 9:05 -- just after the "ready-by time" of 9:00 which I assume is when they called my name. I walked in and there was a disorganized melee of close to a dozen people waiting around the food preparation area, including at least one Doordasher/UberEats runner who apparently had three different customer orders that he is picking up. There were another 7 or 8 customers seated around the cafe, some of whom were eating and a few others still waiting for their orders/names to be called. As I was fairly certain that my order was already out, I stood there for over 20 minutes trying to get the attention of the two employees at the front (by this point I was ready to just leave the restaurant without my pizza and then call the credit card company to do a chargeback). By the time the young lady finally did hand off my order to me (which had been sitting behind the counter the entire time) the pizza was cold. Now, I realize that fast food workers can't just place completed orders in customer areas for people to pick up, because of the risk of people mistakenly taking or stealing others' orders (Potbelly discontinued this practice for the same reason). Believe me, I get it. But can't there be just ONE employee there whose job it is to hand off orders while the others can focus on food prep? Just the food delivery couriers alone (UberEats, Doordash, etc.,) present enough work for restaurants like this one. This is nothing personal against the employees -- the two whom I interacted with seemed nice enough and they both looked like they were working their asses off -- but the fact is you can't have two people making pizzas and then keeping track of who is coming and going. Jesus this is frustrating! I will be following up with a letter to the manager.
