Very reluctantly giving 2 stars here. I’ve heard lots of good things about the Candlelite and had eaten here years ago. Atmosphere and service are great, no complaints. A “14 inch” pizza for $31 though? That is very steep. But I was hungry, and there, so I paid the high price, and was quite disappointed. Pizza was fine, not amazing, decent. But not even 14 inches! Shrinkflation is real, but I would appreciate when local businesses don’t mislead their customers, especially when they’re paying $31 for a pizza.

Not bad but extremely overpriced. My wife wanted a chicken Caesar salad wrap which was $28, um...what? No thanks. We ended up getting a medium pizza with sausage, green pepper, and mushrooms which was $34 before tax and was not enough food for both of us. The sausage was better than most places and the pizza was tasty, but the end crust was overdone (just shy of burned). Likely won't be ordering again primarily because of the price.

Candlelite is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Pat is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. White pizza is epic. Must come back. 10/10.

We were at this place tonight, and due to a small misunderstanding with our reservation, we were kindly treated to a pizza while waiting for a table — a wonderful gesture from the owner and the kind staff and bartender.
But folks, the real revelation was the Candellite White Pizza! We were amazed by the flawless dough and the symphony of flavors that delighted our palates. Absolutely wonderful!

Candlelite Chicago is a casual, spacious sports bar offering thin-crust pizzas, burgers, and other pub fare. The atmosphere is relaxed and suitable for groups or watching games. Food is decent and reasonably priced, though service can vary during busy times. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a casual meal or drinks with friends.

I love candlelight! If you love pizza then you would love this pizza! I order a classic cheese pizza. I always say the first time eating at a pizzeria You gotta get a cheese pizza to taste the sauce, the dough and the cheese. Pizza came out fresh and hot Cut classic squares Chicago style Super thin crispy crust this is more of a Chicago Tavern style pizza then a thin crust pizza. I favor more acidic sauces over sweet. So this sauces was on point for me. Also, their beer selection is pretty decent (Son of juice for my IPA people) Service was amazing! Greeted immediately as we walked in restaurant was packed bar was packed, but was seated right away and the pizza came out so fast (10 minute's) and delicious you would think that the place was empty! The restaurant itself is beautiful with a classic marquee sign outside, love it! 100% Recommend!

My family have been coming here for years and we love candlelight! The staff are always so friendly everybody is so nice even the regular customers are all the absolute best. And enjoy the Cubs on the TVs weather in the summer heat to get a rest in the air conditioning, we're popping in to warm up and watch some hockey in the cold Chicago winter, you can't go wrong with Candlelight. I was sad to see that no longer had the brisket nachos on the menu, and I live in hope that they will one day bring those back, but honestly at one of the best local places to grab a pizza any night of the week.

We love Candlelite. The food is delicious and it’s cute inside. They just did a fundraiser for a local nonprofit and the staff are super nice. The pizza, fried pickles, burgers and loaded fries are amazing. The salads are really good except the Southwest salad which is pretty bland. The pizza is the tavern style cracker crust so it is best in person.The cookie skillet is to die for.
