Charming and intimate, perfect for a date night. Sitting at the chef’s counter was a highlight; it was fun to watch the kitchen in action, and the chef was friendly and engaging. The agnolotti, burger, and panna cotta with olive oil were standouts, and the wine selection was spot-on. The applewood smoked Cylindra beets were fine but not especially memorable, and the chocolate cake didn’t quite shine. Overall, a lovely experience we’d gladly repeat.
The food was exceptional. Every dish was better than the last, and having ordered everything at once, the items were delivered in perfect order to escalate the experience as the night went on. The Chef's Counter experience was interesting and even entertaining. Very, very impressive! (I am from a restaurant background and have seen it all).
Decided to give this place another try for my birthday yesterday after a miscommunication on their end a few years led to us arriving for my birthday dinner only to find they were closed for a private event.
Food and wine were good, but once we ordered our food our server essentially forgot about us. We regularly had to flag someone down for wine and water refills. After we had been sitting for a while with empty plates and glasses, it was clear another reservation...
