I loved the delicious chips and pickles provided as soon as you sat down. We shared a plate of brisket and baby back ribs and a side of beans. All was tasty. I wish more food was provided for the price, although 2 of us shared a plate.

Loved the atmosphere so big & spacious. The restaurant was decorated nice and very clean. The service from the waiters were 10/10. Food was absolutely delicious the chicken & bruleed Mac cheese was really good. Also recommend the fried green tomatoes, short ribs, salmon, and shrimp/grits. They season all their food which I love. Drinks were good as well they have $5 shots. I LOVE THIS PLACE. They also give you a 10 minute grace period if you’re running behind for your reservation. They made me feel great on my birthday. Thank you so much I will be back.

I had the shrimp and grits. Shrimp were rubbery. Grits were from a steam table than made fresh. Very bland and not worth the price. I would make a hard pass on this place. Very first Chicago meal that I would have rathered order a pizza.

Easily the best happy hour in the Gold Coast. A $5 cocktail is absolutely unheard of! I love this spot - delicious food, great service and immaculate vibes!

I was there on this past Friday for a business lunch. I ate the pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun with cornbread.

Excellent quality and some classic dishes. The service is a bit inconsistent and the food a little overpriced but you can't go wrong with the fried chicken or the shrimp and grits.

Love the atmosphere, house-made pickles & chips, and the delicious, delicious brown cocktails. Erick and Kristen are the friendliest bartenders around. Far and away my favorite bourbon & BBQ place in Chicago.

Cool bar. Erick is a great bartender! Recommend the old fashioned! He recommended a couple bourbons that were great.

Changing tables need to be added to downstairs bathroom. Unacceptable to have to go upstairs to use changing table on second floor and no elevator access. Parents or kids may be handicap.

I was surprised but this place is spacious and the staff was courteous, not to mention great food, the ribs was delicious, the sauce as well, the coleslaw was good, but the fries was a bit salty, I would go back again

The food was very good. Only disappointment was that the brunch menu showing on Open Table was not the same as the brunch menu at the restaurant which was more limited for breakfast type food.

Well staffed with friendly, helpful, and efficient staff. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like good friends. We had plenty time to choose from the great menu options while thoroughly enjoying the home-made, delicious, chips and pickles. Our questions were answered and our menu selections were made and followed through expertly. As repeat customers, we particularly enjoyed the wedge salad, burnt ends, and brisket. We have tried many other offerings, but that combination suited us perfectly for the dinner. We took some of the food home with us so that we could save room for the sumptuous carrot cakes and spectacular chocolate cake for dessert. We were in for an early dinner, so the dining room was actually very quiet. We have been there for later dinners when the room was full and the energy level and noise was higher, but always such a delightful experience that the noise was never a factor in our enjoyment of Chicago Q and decision to keep returning when in the neighborhood.

We tried Chicago Q based on a recommendation from a friend. It was great! We were presented with complimentary chips & pickles once we sat down. Neither of us like sweet pickles but these were to die for and we gobbled up the whole bowl. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the fried green tomatoes. And as someone who doesn't drink alcohol, I was pleasantly surprised that they offer an array of NA "booze", including tequila, so I was able to enjoy a yummy margarita that actually tasted like a margarita but was non-alcoholic! Great staff, great service, super nice ambiance. Definitely worth a visit!

If you don't want to wait for some of the other neighborhood brunch spots, come here. However, skip it if you care about the quality of taste. I think I had higher expectations than what was given. Chicago Q is...fine. The most outstanding thing about it was how average the whole experience was. The service- The busser paid more attention to us than the server (filled water, got coffee refills, asked us if we needed any thing). The food- While the shrimp and grits were flavorful and the benedict flight was huge, we walked away paying close to 100 dollars for 2 dishes, a waffle and 2 coffees. We did not have alcohol. This probably disappointed me the most.
