Chicago Q Reviews
Great food ans service with a freat atmosphere.
First went for happy hour, and enjoyed the $5 happy hour rye old fashioned and brisket tacos.
Have been back many times, usually for lunch. The brisket and pulled pork are my favorites. My family likes the kale salad and the biscuits and gravy.
The homemade potato chips are great too.
I came here on Valentine's day. They had a very cute Valentine's day menu. I opted for the Q2 with the brisket and the St. Louis ribs with a side of baked beans and Brulee macaroni and cheese. I also had 2 pistachio espresso martinis. Everythjng was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning!
Chicago Q is a popular spot for BBQ enthusiasts. The restaurant offers generous portions, reasonable prices, and attentive staff. The meats are perfectly prepared, with the brisket, pulled pork, and sausage standing out, along with the BBQ ribs with burnt ends that are favorites among diners. The mac and cheese is rich, gooey, and served hot from the oven, making it a standout side dish. The fried alligator and tomatoes are popular starters, though some find the fried tomatoes a bit oily. During happy hour, guests can enjoy a great atmosphere on the outside deck, especially on nice days. The Bloody Mary bar is well stocked and worth trying. The menu is diverse, with a good selection of dishes, and the atmosphere is lovely with no paper plates or typical BBQ joint decor. The restaurant has recently added charges for credit card use, which some guests find disappointing. The food is delicious, and the staff, including the host, Kristen, provides warm and personal service, making guests feel at home. Overall, Chicago Q delivers delicious comfort food in a cozy setting, with friendly service and a welcoming vibe. Guests also appreciate the desserts, including a wonderful cake served during special occasions.
