Highly recommend calling for a reservation as it’s a small space, but very cute inside! Service was great - the owners really care about the people. It’s BYOB, so we brought some tequila and ordered one of their mixers. The food was solid, but not anything remarkable.
Tucked away in a quaint basement in Lakeview, Chilam Balam blew us away! Every flavor meshed well, ingredients were all super fresh, and plates were perfectly timed. Service was fantastic! Be prepared for cash or Venmo only. Call to make a reservation!
Phenomenal spot tucked under the stairs. Kind of a hidden gem. Plan to share food with your group when you go. Aim to have two dishes per person and plan on picking out all of them when you first order so the kitchen can best arrange them. Everything on the menu us great and make sure to leave room for dessert. Cash only establishment but they do take Venmo, make sure to ask your server what table to list when you pay with Venmo.
