So far everything I ordered for here has been terrific. Very friendly family environment with great service and great food. As soon as you walk in you definitely smell the aroma of a Puerto Rican woman’s kitchen.
My mom and I were there today...we loved it!! The whole experience is so familiar! It's like going to someone's house in Puerto Rico and getting served a plate of food, they treat you like a neighbor. The owners and their daughter are very attentive and talkative! It's like your having a meal at a family member's hse...I know I said it but it's just crazy! So happy and exited for El Batey Cafe, I tried it yesterday and I was NOT disappointed. As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed, I placed my order to go and waited about 15min. I had a jibarito plate with rice and a steak sandwich. They were freshly made and tasted delicious. The prices are not bad, I will definitely come back soon and try different items.
