We had a wonderful dinner at Etta. Our server was excellent - friendly, offered great suggestions, and made the evening memorable. The food was inventive and so delicious. The cocktails were great as well. I'm looking forward to returning soon.
We had a party of 7. We ordered several different dishes and shared them all. Everything was wonderful! Definitely recommend for a group our size or a date night.
Etta Bucktown is a charming Italian restaurant known for its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant features a prix fixe menu with four courses, allowing diners to upgrade to proteins for an additional fee. The dishes are crafted with high-quality ingredients and well-balanced flavors. Options like the wagyu meatballs, wood-fired focaccia, and margherita pizza are popular among guests.
Etta Bucktown also offers delicious branzino and chicken, which have received great praise. Drinks at Etta are a highlight, with the coconut chai being particularly notable. The restaurant serves as a great spot for entertaining out-of-town guests, and many have enjoyed the chill and relaxed ambiance. Although the Caccio e Pepe is no longer available, the new offerings, including grilled oysters with chili-lime butter and flavorful ricotta pillows, are exciting additions. The wood-fired mushroom pizza paired with Young Farm Greens salad is a favorite among diners.
With two levels and bar seating on each, the upper level features patio-style seating that can be opened for fresh air. The terrace is a lovely place to enjoy the food and atmosphere, making Etta a neighborhood gem that is worth a visit.
