3rd Coast Fish Bar is a solid spot for fresh seafood in Lakeview. I grabbed the Lobster Roll and a side of crispy tots. The lobster was sweet and buttery, and the tots were perfectly crispy. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the service was friendly. It's a bit on the pricier side, but the quality makes it worth it. Great for a casual yet tasty seafood meal.

I will always try a place more than once. I keep coming here hoping the service will improve, but it never does. It’s a Sunday night and I’m one of 3 tables in the place, yet it took almost 15 minutes for me to get the opportunity to place my order. My soup didn’t get to me until at least 10 minutes later. And 2 minutes after that, my entree. The pacing is so bad that the table next to me got their food before their drinks hit the table. Again, 3 tables in the whole place. As someone who worked the industry for many years, there’s genuinely no excuse for service this bad.

Stopped by on 7/4/25 hoping to have some great seafood! I haven’t been to this spot before so my partner and I were excited to check it out. Unfortunately, things went downhill the moment we stepped in. We were quickly greeted by a young, white, male server with glasses. I asked him how he was doing and he disregarded my greeting and asked twice with some annoyance “dine in?” Next we sat down and looked at the menu. A few minutes goes by and we set down the menus and look over at the waiter who was busy chatting with his coworkers. This was after he made rounds with his other two tables but failed to check in on us. After some more waiting, I realized that he wasn’t going to check in on us for awhile, so we left. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back.

This cozy side bar is worth the stop. The drinks are refreshing and delicious. Plus you have to try the salmon tartare.
