Wasn’t sure what to expect from this place, as it’s always a crap shoot going to celebrity establishments. I was on a mission to get some great mole and the is did not disappoint! Prices were also decent for being in downtown Chicago (I thought it would be much more). Happily recommend!!
Was there to meet my brother and sister in laws. Had the slow roasted pork ribs in mole sauce. Absolutely delicious. Also loved their "deconstructed chelada" that included a shot of mezcal, Tecate, and tomato juice. All was followed up with a heavenly Tres Leche cake.
My first visit in many years. While the food as good it truly did not meet my expectations. Atmosphere was lack luster and service was absolutely uninspired. This felt like visiting a celebrity chefs chain restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go to the sister restaurant XOCO.
