Meeting House Tavern Gay Bar • $
5025 N Clark St, Chicago

“Very clean and aesthetically pleasing bar. Well lit and seems like they have almost nightly shows ranging from Bingo, to RuPauls Drag Race showings to even a burlesque show.

They are a full service bar but what I loved is they had a fairly range non-alcoholic section of CBD and THC infused drinks.

Two levels make finding a seat easy without the hassle of taking someone’s spot or sitting next to strangers.“

Second Story Bar Gay Bar • $
157 E Ohio St #2, Chicago

“This place has a cool, old-school vibe and a good crowd. It seemed more diverse than your average gay bar 👍. What I wasn’t crazy about was it’s a small space and got a bit claustrophobic on a Saturday night. It was a bit more jostling through a crowd than I was in the mood for. So I don’t think I’d go back on a busy night, but it would probably make a good spot for happy hour.“

The North End Gay Bar • $$
3733 N Halsted St, Chicago

“I recently visited North End and felt compelled to share my experience, particularly highlighting the remarkable professionalism of one of your bartenders. On what turned out to be a challenging night, North End team faced an incredibly difficult situation with a patron who displayed unacceptable and disrespectful behavior. Despite being subjected to unwarranted and degrading treatment, [Bartender's Name] handled the ordeal with extraordinary composure and grace. It is rare to witness such strength and patience, and NorthEnd team deserves immense credit for maintaining such a high level of professionalism under pressure. Their demeanor not only de-escalated a potentially volatile situation but also ensured that other guests at the bar continued to enjoy their evening. The management team should be proud to have staff members who uphold the establishment's reputation in such a manner. This experience has shown me the character and values the North End Team stands for, and I have great respect for that.I look forward to returning under better circumstances and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere that I know NorthEnd team usually provides. My heartfelt thanks to North End Team for their exceptional service.“

“Cozy wooden saloon bar with friendly bartenders and good drinks.
You can see from the art and historical posters that this has been a true community asset since 1971. It’s important we hold our spaces to account while still protecting them for their history and for future generations.“

“Rolled into Replay Lakeview last Friday night and grabbed a $6 draft, a bourbon cocktail, and tossed a few quarters into the vintage pinball and Street Fighter machines. The vibe’s loud, funky, and dead‑on that Lakeview barcade feel, free popcorn, friendly bartenders, and a solid craft‑beer lineup. Spent a couple hours goofin’ around, felt like a proper throwback with buds. Would definitely swing by again for another round of games and brews.“

“ok don't come for me! so about 2 weeks ago was my first time ever in boystown ( im 39 ) 😆 I KNOOOOW! Anyway i had come into town early and ended up exploring chicago allll on my own for the day. Now keep in mind, i went to ALL the places in boystown 😆 WOW! I had asked around about karaoke and everyone said this was the place to go. I make my way there and i walk in and instantly was welcomed and people were talking to me and it was just so nice! yes its a BAR not a club, I loved that lol i was "Josh from Peoria " that night and i have never sang karaoke anywhere else but my hometown bar, i was so freekin nervous lol. but after a few of the THC drinks well i was good to go. im sober so it was really awsome that they have non alcohol drinks. overall i spent most of my night there. it was so welcoming and people were so nice and told me different places to go and things. I will definitely be back and ive soooo told my Peoria friends about yall!“
