“Friendly staff, great place to be and the chips and salsa are so good!!!!“
“I love this place! It is my go-to when I have an out of town friend visiting, because they are open late on weeknights, and there is something to do/drink for everyone. They have drink specials everyday that can make it affordable for anyone to have a few, as well as NA options for my sober friends. The free popcorn on the weekends is a huge plus. My favorite part is that all the games are free and that there is usually not a wait to play one of the games. You can sit and chat if you want, play pool, darts, or a board game. There's plenty of space with it being two floors. I hate cramped bars and I have never felt cramped here. Long live Meeting House!
I will say.... I do wish they served water. I asked for water one time when I wanted to get less drunk and was told I had to buy a bottle. The next time I was there, a friend got a glass of free tap water no problem... this isn't great. Please give your patrons free water!“
“Toda una experiencia agradable! Bien divertido el bar!“

“They’re very nice here being my first time here I love the customer service here thank you guys I’m having a blast here thank you“
“This place has a cool, old-school vibe and a good crowd. It seemed more diverse than your average gay bar 👍. What I wasn’t crazy about was it’s a small space and got a bit claustrophobic on a Saturday night. It was a bit more jostling through a crowd than I was in the mood for. So I don’t think I’d go back on a busy night, but it would probably make a good spot for happy hour.“

“We had the best time during drag brunch while visiting from Arizona, everyone was so welcoming & ate it up with the performances!! Our server Carlos was the BEST, and there couldn’t have been a better host than Batty Davis, she definitely set the vibes for a fun time!🩷“
“I recently visited North End and felt compelled to share my experience, particularly highlighting the remarkable professionalism of one of your bartenders. On what turned out to be a challenging night, North End team faced an incredibly difficult situation with a patron who displayed unacceptable and disrespectful behavior. Despite being subjected to unwarranted and degrading treatment, [Bartender's Name] handled the ordeal with extraordinary composure and grace. It is rare to witness such strength and patience, and NorthEnd team deserves immense credit for maintaining such a high level of professionalism under pressure. Their demeanor not only de-escalated a potentially volatile situation but also ensured that other guests at the bar continued to enjoy their evening. The management team should be proud to have staff members who uphold the establishment's reputation in such a manner. This experience has shown me the character and values the North End Team stands for, and I have great respect for that.I look forward to returning under better circumstances and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere that I know NorthEnd team usually provides. My heartfelt thanks to North End Team for their exceptional service.“
“Drinks are cost too much money in these club and they don't have no way to sit down after spending money the music is just all trap music.
I wasn't feeling it at all and the cover charges are 20 dollars. To have good time with drinks and cover at the door you spend easily 100dollars before you know it.i won't be back soon.“

“Rolled into Replay Lakeview last Friday night and grabbed a $6 draft, a bourbon cocktail, and tossed a few quarters into the vintage pinball and Street Fighter machines. The vibe’s loud, funky, and dead‑on that Lakeview barcade feel, free popcorn, friendly bartenders, and a solid craft‑beer lineup. Spent a couple hours goofin’ around, felt like a proper throwback with buds. Would definitely swing by again for another round of games and brews.“
“Impeccable way to end an evening. Show gogos, there is something for everyone. Possibilities of having private shows (lap dance). Really a friendly and pleasant place (if you have a little change). In any case, provide a few dollars for the dancers.“
“I mostly come these days in my later years for an off weekend affair. I absolutely love bingo on Monday and the hosts. It’s full of banter, crowd participation, laughter, and community. It’s like a live pod cast with bingo. Absolutely recommend for an early weeknight activity!“

“Cozy wooden saloon bar with friendly bartenders and good drinks.
You can see from the art and historical posters that this has been a true community asset since 1971. It’s important we hold our spaces to account while still protecting them for their history and for future generations.“
“Ok people hear me out DANCERS ARE BACK! Music is banger too they should give that DJ a raise! It was packed to the brim in here on the weekend after Halloween, we had a great time and everybody else was too. Such an unpretentious place to go dancing, I love it.“
“Met a friend there yesterday for the first time. The staff and service is great! The club space itself is very nice and updated. I was really impressed.
The negative is the obscenely loud music. I can’t recall ever being in a bar where the music was so loud that I couldn’t even speak to anyone without shouting. I get it’s a club but please consider creating a slightly less loud space to socialize with patrons without having to shout and only hear part of the conversation. I know you have a patio area with a smoking area which is appreciated and the patio area is beautiful but its winter and its use is limited. I left after an hour due to the sound. Loud music and a big crowd is very overwhelming as well as overstimulating for many folks. You have a beautiful spot but please consider creating a less loud area. Thanks!“
“ok don't come for me! so about 2 weeks ago was my first time ever in boystown ( im 39 ) 😆 I KNOOOOW! Anyway i had come into town early and ended up exploring chicago allll on my own for the day. Now keep in mind, i went to ALL the places in boystown 😆 WOW! I had asked around about karaoke and everyone said this was the place to go. I make my way there and i walk in and instantly was welcomed and people were talking to me and it was just so nice! yes its a BAR not a club, I loved that lol i was "Josh from Peoria " that night and i have never sang karaoke anywhere else but my hometown bar, i was so freekin nervous lol. but after a few of the THC drinks well i was good to go. im sober so it was really awsome that they have non alcohol drinks. overall i spent most of my night there. it was so welcoming and people were so nice and told me different places to go and things. “Pretty layback Music is great Ambiance nice and friendly I wish we have more places like this south side ❤️“
“The best Chicago gay bars are far away from Boystown. This is one of the best. Friendly, diverse crowd of regulars. Bartenders are friendly. It's a good place to have an intimate tete a tete with a dear friend or a casual chat with a stranger. Well decorated for Halloween .“
