George does it the right way. Incredible crust, creative and tasty pizza. Locals know to order online or youll be waiting a fair bit. Both deep dish and chicago tavern style are excellent.
I've made it my mission to find the best pizza in Chicago, and I think George's might just have clinched the spot! The basil and ricotta completes this amazing pie - great sauce, dough & thick cheese. 10/10
You’ll find people who debate whether this is truly deep dish or just pan style, but honestly, it’s both. And the most important part is that unlike traditional Chicago deep dish, this is actually really good. Like, really, really good. Highly recommended, probably the best deep dish in Chicago. Definitely worth the trip.
