We arrived at 8:10 (they close at 9) as we were seated we were informed that the deep dish pizzas require 40 minutes to cook. We quickly decided what we wanted and waited to be served. We sat for 25 minutes exactly before getting up and leaving because we were not acknowledged at all after being seated. They didn't even take our drink order or even speak to us for TWENTY FIVE MINUTES. I've never experienced such awful service. 0/10 do not recommend

This is the worse place in Chicago! Don’t go to this restaurant on a pier! If you are not big group - they not gonna serve you. Host told you can go only to the bar. Bartender said don’t sit on the bar! We were there March 28th 2025 at 2PM! The worse people are working there, ever I saw !

The server and food was great. My only issue was the hostess, the one with all the glitter and stickers on her face, was rude. I had a stroller and was told I couldn't have it at the table due to being a fire hazard.I told her the baby was asleep if she had a sling because I couldn't leave the baby off to the side. She didn't know what that was and offered a highchair or booster seat for my 4 month old. I explained she's too small for a highchair. She ended up saying it's the law no exceptions and I could just carry her!

There's the usual food, the usual service. Waiting for pizza is 40-50 minutes, there are only two chefs in the kitchen. Only the taco and cheese are cooked. the mushrooms and peppers in the pizza are raw, and this spoils the whole taste. I always visit popular places and leave good tips, but this place is just for once.

We went to this spot last night to try it out as it's supposedly a must in Chicago after waiting for one hour to get a table. We tried the classic pizza which was OK. The service was great up until when the point when the waiter came with the chip and pin machine - the staff generally were nice and invested.
However, what I want to point out is that after paying for the food - the waiter really hassled us for a tip and was quite rude about it. We wanted to tip by cash and not by card as we left as sometimes tipping by card, you don't always know if the waiter sees the money. In any case, if Giordano's does not pay you enough as an hourly salary - take it up with them, do not expect it from your customers and go so far as to hassle them for a tip. Some people don't have the extra money to spend either - this is very important to consider!
That really put a big dampner on the experience for us and made the nice service we had before seem pretty fake, as it was surprising how quickly the waiter turned on us in that moment. We for sure will not be returning there again.

So incredibly dissatisfied. I ordered food, we were staying at the Sable Hotel, they informed me they didn’t deliver so we had to pick up. I waited an hour for our order and when I walked to pick it up. I was informed they didn’t have our order and were unwilling to accommodate our order at that time as their “ovens were off” which was a lie as their the register lady 2 mins before told me they had a pizza on the oven and they hoped it was mine. Not only did they not accommodate my order, or try to make it right, she lied about their ability to fulfill my order… And then proceeded to ask me to come step to the side and speak to her so that the other people wouldn’t hear her. Rather than just taking accountability I didn’t need anything free. I just needed them to make their mistake right. they had lost my order and then didn’t even try to make it right by fulfilling it. Absolutely worst location ever, terrible management. They seriously need to train their manager Jasmine on customer service skills. She was incredibly rude and inconsiderate that we just had waited an hour for our order…walked the entire length of navy pier to get our order and walked away hungry…I will
Never return to this location and something genuinely needs to be done about her and this location.

It is Chicago and I had to try the famous Giordano's deep-dish pizza and it was a good experience. Loaded with tomatoes, meat and seasoning, can fill you up in only 1 slice. Best paired with beer.
Rustic place, friendly staff, not too pricey menu.

Okay, let’s start from the fact that they don’t accept reservations, we checked in about 2, entered to their waitlist and the girl said the estimate time was 45 minutes, well… I got a text message after 2 hours saying hour table was ready!! So we headed back to the restaurant. It took the waitress forever to take our order, mi margarita wasn’t nothing like the picture, I was very disappointed and it also tasted like water tbh lmao. My family got a pitcher and our glasses were dirty, as y’all can see on the picture🥲🥲, so we had to ask for new ones, and we got plastic ones. Our pizza wasn’t even ready and it was also cold inside and raw, we struggled trying to cut it. I got headache because I was starving and I left sad haha bad food, bad margaritas and bad services make me sad.

I was in town for business and decided to try the deep-dish pizza. Their delivery driver gave me the wrong order. I got to try the pizza but not the deep dish.

This place isn't bad. The pizza isn't as good as I expected. The best thing I tried were the cheese triangles. They were delicious. I think you can get pizza that's just as good or better as Papa Murphy's take and bake.
Parking: The parking at the Navy pier is OUTRAGEOUS. We paid $60 for about two hours
