A very nice small sushi bar. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, we got edamame, gyoza, and cucumber salad, and the unagi q roll, sweet potato roll, spicy tuna roll, and the cub roll (shrimp tempora, deep fried bell peppers, avocado, and spicy mayo). All of the food was absolutely delicious, the service was quick and for dessert we had the brown sugar Boba ice cream bar and it was fun.

Gorilla Sushi is affordable and delicious. I pick up take out here a few times per month, and it’s always prepared quickly. I don’t know any other sushi place this good that is this reasonably priced. We will keep coming back again and again!
Parking: There is paid street parking, but the 22 bus and 72 bus also stop right here for when you don’t feel like driving. There’s also plenty of bike parking along Clark.

I ordered the sweet potato and caterpillar rolls with a Thai Tea. Both the Thai Tea and Sweet Potato rolls were good, just nothing to really set them apart from what I've gotten at some other places.The caterpillar rolls were a step up though! If you love avocado and don't have an allergy to eel, get these.
