I would easily consider bagels to be one of my favorite foods, and going to grab an iced latte and a fun bagel flavor is one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday morning - so when I heard that the Gotham Bagels South Loop location was open, I knew I had to check it out!
Gotham Bagels has been on my list for a LONG time, and it definitely did not disappoint! We tried a couple of their specialty sandwiches along with a classic sweet bagel to round it all out!
My absolute FAVORITE...
The bagels are amazing. You can definitely tell that they are handcrafted. I had the multigrain bagel, bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and a peach coffee. That was great. What a great summer flavor. The staff here is excellent. It’s an easy location right across from the northwestern parking garage the only issue is there’s not a lot of seating on the inside so make sure you try to get there early so you can catch a seat
Decided to “work from home” at Gotham while I waited for my car to be serviced down the street. I ordered breakfast and lunch while working. The atmosphere was beautiful and perfect for working. Service was also amazing. I ordered in person and sat inside. I ordered the OMFG and a bagel with cream cheese. The sandwich had more fried than chicken, but wasn’t bad. I wouldn’t order it again.
