No cap, this place was BUSSIN. 😩πŸ”₯

First of all, shoutout to Nora because she understood the assignment fr. She was super nice, always checking on us, and gave top-tier service. W waitress. πŸ‘‘

Now let’s talk about the food because OMG. The pork chops were actually bussin bussin. Like, I was fighting the urge to order another one. 😭 The lasagna was lowkey a slay, and the bread? Absolutely demolished. Not a crumb left.

The atmosphere was giving cozy vibes, and everything felt super welcoming. The only sus thing was that it was kinda cold in the restaurant πŸ˜‚β„οΈ but honestly that’s such a tiny thing compared to how good everything else was.

Overall, this place is a certified W. Food = bussin. Service = bussin. Vibes = bussin. Would absolutely pull up again.

GO CUBS!! βšΎοΈπŸ’™

Our waiter Tweed was Phenomenal!! It was our first time there and to Chicago. He gave us some great recommendations on what and where to go, very courteous, friendly, overall fantastic experience.

Ed

Highly recommended. Steak and sides were excellent and thank you for the fast, efficient service at the bar.

Calamari were incredible, so Seabass was great. Pork chop was good as well. Can't complain about the fillet. But will complain about the bone-in short rib. Completely made a fat and tasted like cardboard. One out of 5 is not bad. We should've gone with another steak. οΏΌ Desert was incredible.

It was amazing, our server was phenomenal! Best service I've had in a while. Thank you for the amazing Italian entree.

Great food! Steaks were cooked well and everything well executed. I like the decor and the history.

OverservedοΏΌ portions to get the prices up I suppose The steak was tough. The eggplant was not very tasty. Could not customize a martini. I feel this place is just a tourist spot and locals don't οΏΌgo there. Waitress disappeared into the hall to talk with friend? Not a good experience not at all crowded

We were a party of 4 for a 5:30 dinner reservation on Memorial Day. The service was excellent - attentive and friendly. We had cocktails and wine by the glass, and shared a bottle for dinner. Like all downtown restaurants, drink prices are high. We shared two appetizers - salad and a burrata with marinated tomatoes which were excellent, then order 4 entrees: a Kansas City Strip steak (outstanding), eggplant parm (excellent) and two orders of Chicken Piccata. One guest thought it was fine; I thought my chicken was overcooked, dry, etc. I sent mine back. It was removed from our bill, with no comment. My replacement was an ala cart vegetable for which I was charged (fine) after an offer to redo the entree, which I declined. We shared a dessert, which was also fine. My assessment: we had a very nice reunion, with good food for most, but I will not order any of the chicken entrees again. I don't know how a professional kitchen can overcook thin chicken slices. Of course they cook quickly!

My filet was a bit bland with little flavor. The chicken Marsala was very good. The wedge salad was excellent. Overall the service was attentive. The atmosphere was lively with memorabilia throughout the restaurant. Would recommend but stick with the Italian dishes.

Outstanding service from Matt. Cozy, comfortable ambience. Our steak and chicken weee cooked to perfection. Our wine was excellent, so were the hearty sides. Fantastic evening with Harry Caray.

Didn't get all the dishes we ordered. 3% surcharge that you can request taken off which i hate. Service was so so and the food was what you would expect from a steakhouse

I got the pork chop and my husband got the NY strip. We shared the Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. We didn't leave a bit of food behind, everything was so yummy!!

Everything was great. Our server, the serving assistant, the food, the atmosphere. The only negative is the restaurant manger obviously did not want to be there, we walked past customers without acknowledging them which means he missed out on opportunities to enhance the customer experience. He should not be in that role.
