I recently hosted a 50th birthday party for my wife with approx. 175 guests. Nit and his team helped make this event the greatest night of our lives. From first contact, to the tasting, to executing flawlesly the night of the event, everything was top notch and professional !! The tasting was a first of its kind experience for me and everything was so delicious it was hard to decide what not to include... but Nit helped guide my decisions, knowing from experience what people want to eat at a party, how they want to eat it, and how much of it they will eat.. but his greatest feat of the night may have been his last minute change to the floor plan to put a quad bar in the middle of the room, resulting in quick, no line beverage service the entire evening! I received many compliments specifically about just that!! They served alcohol provided by me, and when we started to get low on tequila and vodka, Nit sprung into action, ran down the street, and came back with 7 bottles of each!! I wanted food stations and not a sit down dinner. they set up 3 stations around the room, each with something different, as well as an amazing desert table, and the service from the staff was outstanding !! I would definitely recommend using J&L catering for your event. I would also recommend slightly over estimating your number of guests as I did to be sure you hopefully have a little leftovers of each item, not only because it was delicious, but because if you have no leftovers, it means at some point, you ran out... Thank you Nit and the staff at J&L catering !!

Their menu of appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts has so many great options to choose from that you can not go wrong. During our tasting a few months before the wedding, they were very flexible, adjusting dishes to meet our tastes and preferences. They also did a great job of accommodating guests with dietary restrictions. The servers and staff were very friendly and professional at our wedding and the food was excellent. Some guests even commented "this is the best food I've had at a wedding!" I would highly recommend using J&L to cater your next event.

We booked J&L to cater our 55 person wedding in Chicago in December 2022 and had a fantastic experience! As soon as we met Nit, we knew that he was extremely knowledgeable about food flavors and presentation. At the tasting, he listened to our feedback and gave great suggestions on how we could tweak dishes to our liking. The food quality and taste at the wedding was phenomenal. Many of our guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. We also loved doing a "quad plate" where we had 4 small entrees on the same plate. We worked with a venue that didn't have an onsite kitchen, so the food was partially cooked and then finished on site (as explained by Nit). Nit and his team are so skilled that everything came out perfectly. The on-site staff (bartender, servers) were all professional and courteous. J&L was a huge part of making our wedding a success and I highly recommend them!
