Great service and fun atmosphere!
Service was great with very nice bartenders. Food was very good and offbeat. I tried the Chicago Style Hot Dog Soup. (For real!) It was good! Beer was very good. I tried the pilsner lager. My wife and I felt very comfortable in the punk rock atmosphere.
Good food, good beer, and good music.

Cobra Lounge Taproom is a Chicago punk rock venue that is loud, dark, friendly, and just sticky enough to feel correct. The sound is great, and the crowd is great. The vibe is strong rock n roll, with a wide range of different brews on tap and plenty of seating indoors and out. A sold-out A Wilhelm Scream show absolutely ripped there. The food is incredible, including the January Jones burger, and the fries are amazing—battered and double fried with great seasoning. The menu looks delicious. Favorite part is the open-air narcotics performance; least favorite is the no sharing policy.
