This was my first time trying Jeni’s and I was surprised that they had several non-dairy options. I was very impressed with the flavors and would recommend for those who are looking for non-dairy options. The waffle cone does have dairy, so get the option in a cup!
Ice cream was good, but wouldn’t go there again.
This experience was deeply disappointing. My friend and I were treated noticeably differently compared to white customers, who received friendly, attentive service. When it was our turn, the staff appeared uninterested, dismissive, and reluctant to engage.
On top of that, some customers felt comfortable showing us attitude, which only reinforced how unwelcoming the environment was. No one should feel singled out or uncomfortable in a public business. This was not just poor service — it felt discriminatory. I would not recommend this place unless they seriously address how customers are treated.
Um, yeah, duh. This place is the best ice cream shop around.
I really like Jeni's. The ice cream is superb, however, when my daughter went into the N Milwaukee shop, the ice cream was in a waffle cone and it was already soft and melting when the attendant handed them to her. It wasn't that hot out yesterday, but to have the ice cream melting when it's handed to me is crazy. My cone was dripping and I had to wrap it with extra napkins because it was so messy. I was so disappointed and I've never been before.
