Had the joy of trying Bongo Room this morning for brunch for my spouse’s birthday. Everyone was so kind—from the person who checked us in, to the server, to the kind man we sat next to at the counter. We loved this place! So cozy, great decor, every bite of food was perfect. The best hollandaise I’ve ever had. Loved the mimosa flight and the white chocolate pretzel pancake!
So, I've been eyeing The Bongo Room forever, and this Saturday, fueled by an epic 12-hour sleep, I finally rolled in right at 9 am when they opened. Usually, I'm all about brunch, but after such a knockout night of rest, breakfast was calling my name.The place was already buzzing, - got seated quick, and our server wasted no time hitting us with menu suggestions. Every time I am in Chicago, I try to make it to the Bongo Room for an amazing brunch. I was disappointed to find out that their other location closed but happy that this location was still open on my last trip. They service was excellent. I got the French toast, and it was delicious as always. I always have a consistently good meal from this place and can't wait to eat there again.
