I was looking forward to eating the same taste of food i had in Malaysia but it wasn't the same nasi lemak. Their fried rice was good, the shrimp with okra was delicious. overall, it was good but what I had in Malaysia was so much better.
This is a spacious restaurant with great food. The Southeast asian dishes is very tasty and I especially recommend the dry-roasted lamb, which has a very peculiar, charming flavor. On the other hand, the Chinese food is ordinary. There is a mandatory 20% tip for dinner, and the service is so-so.
We were a bit disappointed with the char koay teow. It was missing the smoked flavor from a proper wok. The Nasi lamak had way to many cloves in the rice, the kachang and ikan bilies had sugar on them and the sambal wasn't spicy. The beef rendang was good. And the tea tasted like it was from a packet. With so many other options we won't be in a hurry to get back there.
