About Kubo Chicago

Kubo Chicago offers an unforgettable dining experience, beginning with its unique Kamayan feast, which features a wide variety of Filipino dishes. The menu also includes favorites like chicken lumpia, pork ribs, fried pork belly, and sausage, all served with garlic rice and vegetables. Customers praise the flavorful and delicious food, great calamansi juice, and the large, diverse menu that keeps customers coming back. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with a touch of darkness, creating a special ambiance. The friendly staff ensures a warm welcome and attentive service. The covered patio is a nice bonus for outdoor dining. Visitors enjoy the lively crowd and friendly service, though it can be slower on busy weekends, and there is no on-site parking, so using apps or public transit is recommended. Kubo Chicago is a top choice for dinner or a quick bite, highly recommended for both regulars and newcomers.

Visiting from Boston where there are few options for Filipino food. Went with my partner for his birthday. We loved it! Had the Pancit with shrimp, Kansi soup, and Turon a la mode for his birthday cake. Was all delicious! And Christine, the host and owner, gave us great service. We highly recommend!

We drove 3.5 hours from the SW corner of Indy to give them a try. Mostly hits (calamari, short ribs adobo small plates), a couple meh (milkfish was pretty dry, crab cakes made from canned). Great calamansi juice and a wonderful staff. Will try again next time we are up on Chi town.

It was the best filipino food in town.I had the sisig and hubby had pork ribs adobo he loved it ,so so good. And I think they had the best halo²x in town.
staff was very friendly. No problem with parking spot coz you can park in the street for 2hours for only 5bucks,not bad (only sunday free) but worth it food was great.
love this place.
Highly recommended.
