I really like the food and drinks here. Good vegetarian and vegan options. Low frills and honestly the best option for Mexican food in the South Loop area. The main critique is that it’s extremely loud in there; so not a date spot or anything, but good for friends and family.
I’ve been here a few times and this time was noticeably different. Fabio was our server/bartender. He was not really attentive, we had to call him over several times to ask a question or place an order. Then when it was time to go he hovered (after I had paid the check). I guess he thought I was going to run off with my food 😒. It is also always cold in there. Fabio spent most of his time engaging another customer next to us. This place has amazing vegan food! It's always fast and friendly service and they have been a staple for a long time. If you've never tried it before, what are you waiting for??
