Cozy cafe with fantastic drinks and delicious food near the train stop. They also do to go orders!

Will be back.

Maybe my salt taste is diminishing, but I found the broccoli salad under seasoned. Frenchie sandwich was tasty however the construction seemed rough and uneven. These are just nitpicks though, on a place with superior, luxurious meat products they make in-house. Reasonably priced for this economy. I will definitely be coming back to try dinner, which I hope and anticipate will earn that 5th star.

Stopped in the other night for ~girl dinner~ and it was lovely. They were out of a few of the things we wanted to order, but everything we got was delicious! Typical Logan Square nonchalant service. Overall a nice spot, for a Michelin starred joint though I just expected a litttttle more.

Great spot. The grilled cheese and tomato soup is simply amazing. Best in town by far.

Unprofessional.. I asked for a shot of coffee and they gave me an once and a half of coffee. I guess they think people don’t know the difference.

I have had this place in my list to eat at since I read an article about Michelin quality charcuterie. We tried 7 different varieties of the charcuterie and I was very pleased with the great quality of them. I do recommend

This places was amazing and I would recommend it again and again. I had tomato soup and a grilled cheese and my lunch mate got a charcuterie board. Both items were great!

Used to LOVE Lardon for lunch while we are working but three recent experiences have left me cold and wondering whether to ever go back.
1. Called to order the chef special and they were out of stock on key items. This should be updated on website.
2. Sandwich our client ordered that had avocado, the avocado was black. Impossible oversight there.
3. Today we excitedly ordered the chefs special Polish sausage. Bread was stale, hard as a rock, like it had been microwaved. Sausage was fine. Cabbage was unremarkable and sauce meagre.
Come on Lardon, what are you doing??

Sandwich heaven. Cute place with a great selection. The charcuterie is great however the sandwiches are the star of the show.

Would never come back here. It’s definitely Logan/hipster vibes if that is your thing, but it’s not mine. You would think that a charcuterie place would have a good wine selection, but they do not. Tried to order the only bottle of Cabernet on the menu and when it came out, it was a twist off that came chilled and tasted like the wine my grandparents serve at Passover. Rough! We said no and opted for cocktails. This was the worst dirty martini I have ever tasted. It had the cheapest vodka, despite asking for Kettle, and tasted like it was made by a 19 year-old. Onto the charcuterie… some of it was decent, we liked all of the cheeses, the same could not be said for all of the meats. As you can see from the picture, it’s a lot of filler and you are actually only getting a tiny sliver of cheese. So you are paying about $9 per cheese for what is clearly a tiny cut of the block of cheese. We still paid $80 for this entire not-a-meal that made my stomach immediately hurt after eating. Not into it. Won’t be back.

Had a great time here with my girlfriends, our server was very friendly & knowledgeable about all the items. The wine and charcuterie were great together, and the duck confit & pasta rags were to die for!! I’ve also been here in the morning for coffee which was also great, will definitely be returning!

Went mid-afternoon on a weekday. Had the BLT. The bread was delicious, perfectly toasted, the tomatoes were good and the aioli had great flavor. The bacon was undercooked, not crispy at all, almost to the point of being floppy, so not the best. The chips could’ve been good but they were cut too thin and were slightly burnt and way over-salted which is hard to do for my palette. The service was unnecessarily slow and snooty, especially considering how empty it was.
