Given the warmer temps in November, we dined here for an early lunch and asked to sit outside which they happily obliged.
We ordered a pastrami on rye which was delicious. The marbled rye was lightly toasted and had the best crunch to complement the dressing and meat. Each bite had a nice blend of all the flavors. The chips were the best chips we’ve ever had. A local Pilsner was a great addition to the dish.
Some people have commented on the service and while it was quick, their pleasant nature, surroundings and delicious food makes that unnoticeable. This dining experience made me happy!
Food was great! Service left a lot to be desired. Staff seemed unconcerned and slow. We sat outside and and asked to be moved inside since we saw open tables that stayed open the whole time we were there and they declined our request. Bad experience . Outdoor seating has no good vibes. Dead plants in the planters….
Communal seating is fine but to not disclose it and give the walk in the non-communal table is a BOLD MOVE. They should state communal seating in the reservation. Simple solution.
Props to the hostess for arguing walk-ins deserve tables before communal seating.
I rarely give bad reviews. The hostess' attitude was the icing on the cake to want me to post this review. People should know the seating arrangements since communal seating is a different vibe.
Absolutely wonderful staff. Special shout out to Ralph for the coffee.
Been here twice now and highly recommend it! They have hot and cold sandwiches as well as charcuterie options. The turkey sandwich was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had- the bread alone was amazing. They have an entire drink menu as well as coffees for the morning. If it’s nice out, they have a patio, but for those rainy days, there’s inside seating.
Very impressed
Excellent coffee!
We went for the pre-fixe dinner menu, and the food was excellent! The charcuterie starter was definitely a stand out. We loved the seasonal items, such as the ricotta gnocchi with tomato and the bistro filet with peppers and corn purée.
The portions were on the smaller side, which is to be expected with a 4 course meal, but we were satisfied after dessert. I’d recommend ordering extra charcuterie if you’re very hungry.
The service was great as well!
The only area for improvement I’d suggest is uploading the pre fixe menu on the website or Instagram in advance if possible since we were not able to review the menu before we got there.
I love this place. I go constantly for a sandwich and a glass of wine. Some of the best sandwiches in Logan. Really good Collab sandwiches with local restaurants that change monthly. Delicious pickles with every sandwich
Really nice cozy spot with really friendly staff. Had a satisfying vegetarian sandwich that I was surprised to see. Definitely will return.

the sandwiches here are absolutely phenomenal. bread is homemade, chips are homemade, pickles are homemade. unique bread for each sandwich. the italian was so good—i’ve been trying to find a the best italian sandos in chi and this is def a contender. saw others getting charcuterie boards and they look bomb. the sandwiches are certainly pricey — $17-20 per — but i would say that the quality does come through from it. but ordering 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees plus tip and tax was $60 bucks, so that’s a lot for lunch.
i would say that the service here is extremely slow and somewhat disorganized. took a long time to get seated, took even longer for a server to come out and take our order, we waited for our drinks for 15-20 minutes, waters were brought twice and then the extra waters were just left on the table. i noticed that there were multiple servers hitting the same table like they weren’t sure which tables they were supposed to be serving. not a huge deal, just disorganized. it wasn’t such a big deal for us today as we had the time to chill — just noting it for people who may be on their lunch break or otherwise need to be more efficient with their time — you can order to-go from the counter.
Ordered Hotel California and Rueben sandwiches for my wife and I. Bread was dried out on both sandwiches. The pastrami on the Rueben was over cooked leaving a dried and hard. Very disappointed. The sourdough did not have much flavor at all. Underwhelmed.
Delicious food, super customizable and so unique. We love coming here when we visit the city! If you get the pleasure of having Jordan serve you, you’ll have an unforgettable dining experience. The drinks and desserts are absolutely delish too!
Frenchie & Capicola were some of the best sandwiches I've had. Will be back.
Michelin Guide is right on. Too many things on the menu I want to try. Tip: if you've had a lot of Reubens in your life, don't let that stop you from ordering a Reuben here. You've not tasted one like this.
